Exmouth Harriers races for 2009

Start and finish will be, thanks to the kind permission of Haven Holidays, at Haven Holiday’s Devon Cliffs Holiday Park (Sandy Bay) Exmouth Devon EX8 5BT, on the beach. The run will be to far end of the beach in Exmouth, below the Beach Hotel, turn and return to Sandy Bay, the approximate distance is 9k, you may choose your own route, as long as you stay on the beach, and turn at the marshal at the end of Exmouth beach.

There will be no prizes or category awards, timings will be posted on web site, www.exmouth-harriers.co.uk. All finishers will receive a unique memento.

There will be no drinks station, so if you feel you will need a drink, during or after please bring your own. Or better still the excellent café just above the beach will be open, for food and drink.

The Bicton Blister and Blister Lite Sunday 29th November 2009, an 11 mile and 5 mile race on Woodbury common, undulating at times, and muddy, a very short road section. Race HQ at Bicton Arena, more detail on www.bictonblister.co.uk
Fulfords Great West Run 5 mile Sunday 1st February 2009 a short town centre 2 lap race including the famous Exmouth Sea front twice! Mainly flat and fast, race HQ at Exmouth Sports centre, with changing and shower facilities, extensive age categories, men to 70 and ladies to 60, minimum age 15, a great early season tester, or first time race, a very good stepping stone to The Great West Run in Exeter on Sunday 3rd May 2009
